Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice | Rotten Tomatoes (1) Samantha Riedel Bitch Media Let's not make any bones about it - on any scale, Dawn of Justice is painful to watch. Feb 10, 2021 Full Review Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice | Rotten Tomatoes (2) Matthew Rozsa Salon.com It is without question an important film today, and a quintessential product of the America we inhabit. Rated: 2.5/4 Aug 3, 2017 Full Review Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice | Rotten Tomatoes (3) Aramide Tinubu Shadow and Act There is much to claw through here, so much so that the audience might easily find themselves exhausted from the overall aggression of the film. However, a lot of the story does work. The action is good, and the emotion feels real most of the time. Apr 12, 2017 Full Review Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice | Rotten Tomatoes (4) Brendan Cassidy InSession Film The film was written by both Chris Terrio and David S. Goyer, and their jarring duality is very present. Rated: 3/5 Feb 16, 2024 Full Review Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice | Rotten Tomatoes (6) Cory Woodroof For the Win (USA Today) Snyder’s weakest DCEU film was by far Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, an overwrought attempt to shoehorn Ben Affleck’s Batman into the Superman story Snyder started with Man of Steel. Nicholas D bad bad movie way too long Rated 1/5 Stars • Rated 1 out of 5 stars 07/18/23 Full Review Dave A How to make this movie in three steps:1. Assume you are five times smarter than you actually are. Now try to be as pretentious and convoluted as possible as you make a movie about two cartoon characters punching each other. Makes it as dull and boring as you can both visually and story wise. 2. Make sure that you have no understand of the two principal characters. Instead make them both edgy, moody and overly violent because that’s cool! Batman slaughtering people? Cool! Superman slaughtering people? Cool!3. Make sure to sprinkle liberally with pointless slow motion.Excellent! You’ve made on of the dumbest, most boring and drab comic book movies ever! And everything changes with MARTHA! Rated 1.5/5 Stars • Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 06/26/24 Full Review Katy S Definitely flawed. Watch the ultimate edition for a more pleasurable view. A bit slow but action pieces are excellent. Rated 4/5 Stars • Rated 4 out of 5 stars 06/24/24 Full Review Manny S Epic . batman warehouse scene is epic ..Nothing will ever compare Rated 5/5 Stars • Rated 5 out of 5 stars 06/17/24 Full Review Alex L 2 stars for the extended version, half star for the theatrical. Bloated nonsensical missed opportunity to introduce Batman in DCEU… we know what it all became… Rated 2/5 Stars • Rated 2 out of 5 stars 06/13/24 Full Review Ibrahim M This was the worst movie I’d ever seen at the time, and it still is. At the time it came out, DC was supposed to start building out it’s cinematic universe like Marvel. Instead, we randomly got Bat-fleck shooting down at people from atop buildings, weasely Jesse Eisenberg cosplaying as Lex Luther, and our classic heroes duking it out for no good reason, rather than getting properly introduced and setting a good foundation for the universe. Watching this after the Nolan Batman movies was a slap in the face. Rated 0.5/5 Stars • Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 06/13/24 Full Review Read all reviews
