It's been nearly two years since Superman's (Henry Cavill) colossal battle with Zod (Michael Shannon) devastated the city of Metropolis. The loss of life and collateral damage left many feeling angry and helpless, including crime-fighting billionaire Bruce Wayne (Ben Affleck). Convinced that Superman is now a threat to humanity, Batman embarks on a personal vendetta to end his reign on Earth, while the conniving Lex Luthor (Jesse Eisenberg) launches his own crusade against the Man of Steel.

There is much to claw through here, so much so that the audience might easily find themselves exhausted from the overall aggression of the film. However, a lot of the story does work. The action is good, and the emotion feels real most of the time.

Assume you are five times smarter than you actually are. Now try to be as pretentious and convoluted as possible as you make a movie about two cartoon characters punching each other. Makes it as dull and boring as you can both visually and story wise. 2. Make sure that you have no understand of the two principal characters. Instead make them both edgy, moody and overly violent because that’s cool! Batman slaughtering people? Cool! Superman slaughtering people? Cool!3. Make sure to sprinkle liberally with pointless slow motion.Excellent! You’ve made on of the dumbest, most boring and drab comic book movies ever! And everything changes with MARTHA!
