Homemade Alfredo Sauce from Creating Naturally

I love Alfredo sauce – and this is the BEST and easiest recipe for Alfredo I’ve ever made. It’s my go-to recipe now. Just thinking about it right now makes me want to slobber all over myself. When I make this, I actually lick the pot so as to make sure that I don’t miss any cheesy goodness left behind. Of course, there is burnt goodness left behind too because I always get distracted and burn stuff in my pot. Just keepin’ it real.

Spaghetti Squash Casserole from Tammy’s Recipes

I think I can honestly say that this is the best recipe for spaghetti casserole I’ve ever put in my mouth. Last winter I couldn’t quit making it – I made it over and over again. I purchased approximately 1 million spaghetti squash so I could make it as often as possible. I think I might be addicted to it. Is there a 12-step program for people addicted to cheese and meat?

Chocolate Chip Coffee Cake fromDinners, Dishes, & Dessert

Okay, for real. Coffee cake is just a way of being able to eat cake for breakfast without feeling bad about it. Seeing as how I had custard for breakfast this morning, you can guess that I don’t have any breakfast morals. Cake for breakfast? Yes please. And this one is AMAZING. I used whole wheat pastry flour and sucanat for substitutes. AMAZING. Best coffee cake ever. Did I say it was AMAZING??

Crispy Southwest Chicken Wraps from Mel’s Kitchen Café

I love wraps and I try to make them as often as possible. This one is hands-down the best wrap recipe EVAH. It’s quick and easy and I try to make sure I always have the stuff on hand to make it. It calls for good, whole foods. The best part is, it’s crunchy. I love crunchy food. I’m a crunchy mama – guess that makes sense, huh?

Pasta with White Bean Sauce from Kitchen Stewardship

Okay, so I already told you I like white sauce. This is white sauce too – but with BEANS. This recipe is fabulous for your grocery budget. You can add meat, or not. I love meat…but I don’t miss it in this recipe. If I loved beans before, now I love them even more. This is one of my favorite pasta dishes of all time. Beans, bean, the magical fruit! The more you eat, the more you…yeah.

Cheesy Green Bean Casserole from The Humbled Homemaker

No wait! Come back!!! Don’t run away! Here is a true story: I used to hate green bean casserole. It made me want to yak just looking at it. BLECH! Full of all that cream-of mess…but this recipe calls for sour cream and cheese – no cream-of soups in site. And man alive…it’s good. I could eat the entire dish by myself. I almost always double the recipe. This is my go-to recipe for potlucks. I make it every time…and pray that no one will eat it so I can bring it home and eat it myself. Sometimes I show up late just so no one will eat it.

Buffalo Crack Slaw from Atkins Diet Recipes

No, I am not on the Atkins Diet…and no, I don’t eat buffalo crack. But man – this dish is thebomb.com. It ranks right up there as one of my favorite dishes of ALL TIME. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve made it. Buffalo = hot and crack = addictive. If you don’t want to call it Buffalo Crack Slaw just call it Hot Hamburger and Cabbage…but, that’s boring. Who cares what you call it – just make it…yesterday.

Pancakes That Will Melt In Your Mouth from Sweet Simple Stuff

When we lived with my parents for a bit, this became a regular recipe. I would make it on Saturday for everyone to enjoy. When I saw the recipe somewhere, I had to click on the link. Because everyone says their pancakes are the best – but this isn’t a lie…they DO melt in your mouth. I love them. It makes a fairly large batch, so I would make them and then freeze the extras between sheets of cereal paper. Then when I wanted them, I’d just sock them in the oven until warm. YUMMO.

I used whole wheat pastry flour and coconut oil in substitution.

Marilyn Monroe Panini from Plain Chicken

We love sandwiches…and I love Plain Chicken’s blog! Subscribe! Her recipes are fabulous and very easily converted for the most part. I’ve made so many of her things – and every time I’m pleased. But this recipe, it’s just AWESOME. I make it a lot. It’s a nice quick lunch…and it’s something you can throw in the skillet when you forgot to plan lunch. Yum, yum, yum! I want one right now. I gotta finish this post!

Steel Cut Oatmeal with Bananas and Cobbler Topping from Lauren’s Latest

If you think you hate oatmeal, or even just steel cut oats, then you haven’t made this recipe. It’s soooooooooooooooooo good! It’s so good, you’ll think you’re eating dessert for breakfast. But as we’ve already established, I eat cake and custard for breakfast. Soooooo, trust me when I say this one is delish! I should know – I’m an oatmeal connoisseur.

I used sucanat and whole wheat pastry flour in substitution. Soooooooooo good!

And there you have it! If you have the time, why don’t you leave a recipe in the comments for me – one you think I should add to my Pinterest board to try out! 🙂
